I saw Dr. Khalid on short notice for an emergency root extraction after suffering a broken crown at another dentist. He (and all of the staff) was very helpful and accommodating and the procedure was done painlessly despite the difficulty involved with it. I couldn't talk immediately following the surgery and he was sure to answer any common questions I might have had, but also allowed me to type out any others. He also reassured me of what to do following any possible complications and made me feel very informed and safe. Can't recommend him more highly.

I can't thank Khalid enough for the amazing work he has done for me. He is professional, genuine and very calm. He has performed his magic with implant and bridge work. I wasn't sure about having implants, but there was no need to worry, absolutely no pain or problems. Khalid has given me my smile back! I haven’t been to a dentist for many many years as almost all experiences didn't end well, leading to a very real fear of getting in the chair.I booked an assessment at Bank view and after disusing a plan I even then postponed the treatment for months because I was so anxious about going.I eventually turned up and began the treatment. I had LOTS of work done, 14 different procedures and I can honestly say the entire process was pain and fear free.Thomas and his team are amazing – I could never imagine a time driving to an appointment, not even thinking what was on the horizon.Thanks a lot team – from the reception to the medics – first class and something I would hardly recommend!

I recently had the incredible oppurtunity of shadowing Dr khalid at this surgery and it has been nothing short of extraordinary.From understanding simple tooth structure to complex procedures such as dental bridges I was able to learn such a vast array of new content which has given me a far wider scope of what dentistry as a profession has to offer. Dr Thomas and his assistant have been amazing from start to finish. I needed quite a bit of work doing and was very nervous about my first visit but they kept me calm and relaxed the whole time. I did not feel any pain during my fillings and even my root canal was completely painless.On my last appointment I was that relaxed I could have fallen asleep in the chair. They have genuinely helped me get over my anxiety about the dentist and I am so glad I finally decided to go. Looking back, I do not know why I put it off for so long.The receptionists are also lovely and the whole place feels really welcoming from the moment you walk in. Like many people my age, I have genuinely tried my best to look after my teeth, but I still ended up developing a serious form of gum disease. Life doesn’t seem fair!I regularly attended the dentist and constantly asked “my dentist” what could be done and why was it happening and I was told “nothing could be done, it’s too late now” and I was never told a reason or a remedy.What is worse is that this serious gum disease affected my four bottom front teeth badly, making them very wobbly, therefore biting and eating was very painful and sometimes impossible.Feeling depressed and thinking my situation was hopeless, I knew I needed to find another dentist.So I started to research the “best dentist” and a few times Khalid’s name came up. I did more research and his work was very impressive, his patients had undergone some amazing transformations and he seemed extremely kind and gentle.So, I took the brave step and made a new patient appointment and He made me feel so relaxed and calm the moment I met him and explained he could help me, which was the best part for me. He carefully went through what he was going to do in language I could understand.I had to have 4 of my bad teeth taking out but he made sure that a 4 tooth denture was already made BEFORE the day of the extractions so that I never walked around with a gappy smile. My denture was so good too, it fit snugly and looked amazing but that was only the beginning.I then had a full course of hygiene appointments with Lynn who is also really good and gentle for nervous patients like me. This made sure my mouth felt good and healthy again and I did not have any sore spots, redness or bleeding.I then whitened my teeth for 6 weeks to get them ready for my new straight, white bridge.Today I got my bridge fitted and OMG, I cannot believe how great it looks and how amazing it actually feels to have such natural looking fixed teeth. My whole smile has been transformed…and so have I. I cannot stop staring at them! I’m so so so happy and I cannot thank Khalid enough for his amazing work (he is a dental magician) and for being so kind, gentle and nice.Khalid made me feel calm from the very first appointment and never once judged me, stared at my mouth or made me feel guilty. He always tried to make everything as painless as possible and never hurt me. I now look forward to going to the dentist and often do not sleep the night before down to the excitement rather than the fear.I have got my confidence back fully and the most perfect amazing teeth to go with it. I had the amazing opportunity to shadow Dr Khalid and his team for two days just recently and it was a very insightful experience.When i stepped inside the practice I was greeted by the wonderful reception and they assured me Dr Khalid would be with me shortly.While shadowing Dr Khalid I saw how he interacted with patients and how they all left with smiles on their faces. Whenever I asked a question Dr Khalid always gave a well explained response. I also got to see multiple dental procedures e.g. Crown preps, Tooth Implants and also tooth extractions. Not only did I see this but also, Dr Khalid talked me through each procedure thoroughly ensuring i learned from it. I also got the opportunity to shadow Dr Henry Sarpong who was also great at answering my questions and also performing intricate procedures. Overall my experience at bank view smile studios was exceptionally eye opening into the career of dentistry and further increased my desire to be a dentist.I would like to thank all the staff at Bank View Smile Studios for making my experience there pleasant and I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for dental care or any work experience.

I have been a patient at Bank View Smile Studios for fifteen years having transferred to Khalid when he and Thomas took over the practice. My two children are also patients from a young age and the gentle, caring way in which Khalid and his staff treated them made going to the dentist a perfectly normal pleasant experience.In the last fifteen years I have just had general maintenance work on my teeth, however this all changed a couple of months ago. I wanted a chip on my front tooth fixed which Khalid had repaired eleven years earlier! Also, the colour of my teeth had deteriorated and he suggested whitening prior to any work. That was the defining moment and the result has been incredible. Following the whitening, Khalid applied composite bonding to my two front teeth and when I saw them, I was absolutely thrilled much to Khalid’s delight.He has just completed work on five more teeth, including closing an annoying gap I have had all my life, and all without Invisalign! He has crafted bonding onto my existing teeth keeping a natural smile (no turkey teeth here). He is a master craftsman and his excitement in doing this work and making such a difference to a middle aged woman’s confidence is truly lovely. I feel very proud to be a patient at this clinic and I’m there again today for a filling in a back tooth, it can’t all be glamour! Bank View deserves all the accolades it has received, a truly genuinely happy place to visit every time.

My upper front tooth broke off on a Saturday morning, I was mortified! I was a hermit that weekend; didn't set foot out the door so no one would see how awful I looked with the gaping hole. I had a family funeral and a several important meetings the following week so I was really fearful of how long I might have to wait to get help.On Monday morning, I phoned Bank View at 8am and begged for an emergency appointment with Khalid. By 9.30am I was in the chair! I had barely slept, worrying about what could be done as the tooth had snapped almost at the gumline. Khalid just worked miracles. He built a new tooth - temporarily at first - and I was back the very next day for him to complete the ‘artistry’. It’s incredible and I could not be more grateful. Khalid didn’t win ‘UKs best dentist’ for no reason!I’ve attached the after picture…there are certainly not any before pictures! I’d highly recommend.

I had delayed my root canal treatment for 2 years! however, I wish I had got it done earlier at Bank View Smile Studios.I hate visiting the dentist like many people, but I was dealt with professionally and Khalid made sure i was comfortable before the procedure began.I can reassure you that the root canal treatment carried out by Khalid was pain-free and smooth.Please do not make the same mistake I did by delaying my root canal treatment for 2 years because it led to horrible tooth pain!Honestly, do not hesitate for any treatment, you are in good hands with the team at Bank View Smile Studios.

Don’t ask me how, but I walked into a door at the age of 12 and broke my front tooth. The tooth was painful and I looked awful. Visiting the dentist was not high on priority list as a child and I went only because I had to, not because I wanted to. So, I went to have it repaired and although it did the job, it wasn’t a good experience.I became petrified of attending the dentist. I used to live in Glasgow up until 15 years ago and recently this “tooth cap” broke again and I went into a blind panic and didn’t know what to do.Once I’d calmed down, I researched who the best local dentist was and it was clear that Khalid at Bank View Smile Studios in Blackburn was the one.I’d read a lot of his testimonials and his Moment in the Mirror videos and I was impressed and so I plucked the courage to make an appointment and as the saying goes, the rest is history. I’ve never looked back because he was kind, gentle, calm and patient with me. He understood my fears and apprehensions.It wasn’t just the broken tooth, I was always self conscious about the white blotches on my front teeth and the stained crack lines too.Khalid came up with a treatment plan that fixed all 3 things at once and it didn’t break the bank either. I ended up paying just over £500 for the whole treatment and I’m delighted with the result.I cannot believe the difference it’s made to my smile, my confidence and in my feelings towards dentists. I cannot believe I’m saying this but I actually look forward to my dental appointments because of the wonderful team of nurses and receptionists who are also very supportive and smiley, especially his Khalid’s nurse Bee, who is funny. Very happy with the excellent work done on my front two teeth by Khalid. I lost confidence with my smile and felt my front two teeth were very sensitive. The issue was fixed through having a composite bonding procedure performed by Khalid my dentist. It was cheap, painless, no laboratories, quick, and nobody could tell I've had work done on them!Definately recommend this dentist if your after cosmetic work to your teeth also!

I've been Khalid's patient for a few years. Unfortunately I developed severe dental anxiety about three years ago and put off visiting the dentist. I finally plucked up the courage to go in June 2023. I sent an email with my concerns and Khalid was very understanding and reassured me. I needed a filling which Khalid did for me as quickly as he could as he works professionally but at a good speed to ensure I was not in the chair longer than I needed to be.I developed an abscess and also needed a root canal which he did for me in September. I was very nervous but Khalid kept me informed of what he was doing throughout. He showed me the xrays after and it was meticulous. I saw Dr khalid Master for an assessment of my oral hygiene and some cosmetic work of my teeth. It’s been a long time coming and there was lots of information I had to digest in this appointment to ensure I was looking after my teeth. This included complex steps to achieve the perfect smile I wanted. Khalid was able to easily break it down and provide me with a step by step breakdown of affordable costs, ensuring I was fully informed at all points. As a doctor myself, I saw the good communication he has practiced over the years implemented to the highest standard. Dentistry may not be my field but I felt safe, comfortable and fully informed as his patient and I will definately be taking away some of his communication skills! I've been a long standing patient of the practice, more than 25 years but the last 13 years I've been under the care of Dr Khalid Master who is absolutely fabulous. I used to be quite nervous about my dental visits and went because I have to rather than want to, but ever since Khalid arrived all that changed completely. I actually look forward to my visits and dont mind having injections because he does them painlessly. In fact I was treated today because I had a filling repair with NO anaesthetic at all and I honestly didnt feel a thing and I was entertained by the dental nurse Bushra who is also excellent. I believe Khalid is a dental magician and I would highly recommend him and Bank View Dental practice. I would give more than 5 stars if I could because the care and service is faultless.

Hi , Just to share with people like me who are terrified of dentists. I have just been for my 6 monthly check up and hygenist appointment. Khalid in formed me that a tooth had a vertical fracture and needed to be extracted!!.....My worst nightmare was realised. As a year 12 student aspiring to become a dentist, work experience is crucial not only to add to your personal statement for university, but also to gain an insight and better understanding of being a dentist. I am very grateful that Bank View Smile Studios gave me the opportunity to shadow at their dental practice for 2 days, especially since gaining work experience at dental practices are extremely hard to find.Within the first 10 minutes, I already felt comfortable after being welcomed by the wonderful receptionists and given a tour by Kathy Smith. Whilst shadowing khalid, I learnt alot of valuable things not only by observing him interact with his patients, but what he talked to me about. Through observing him, I learnt the importance of having a good rapport with your patients: all patients were treated with great care and khalid also explained in depth to them the causes and treatments to their oral problems in order to educate them on how they can improve their oral health. The patients trust Khalids advice and Khalid trusts them to take his advice which helps to maintain the strong rapport. During the free time we had, khalid taught me many things including: what I can do after university, dental drills, dental code, different sectors in dentistry, different types of practices, the importance of having a dental licence and the importance of having manual dexterity. After leaving the dental practice, all this knowledge made me more confident in wanting to pursue a career in dentistry.While shadowing, what really stood out to me was the amazing teamwork. Khalid and the dental nurse, B worked well together, giving the best quality of treatment to every patient and demonstrated why this is an award winning practice.

I went in for a filling and Khalid gave me and x Ray and advised me that it had gone beyond a filling and I would either need a root canal filling or an extraction, I opted for the extraction and he performed it straight away with no extra cost, he was very professional throughout and explained everything to me as he was performing it, he made me feel comfortable throughout and answered all the questions that I had.

I first joined BVSS in 2021, Before joining this brilliant dentist I was extremely nervous of any dental appointments, I hadn't visited the dentist in well over 5 years, I had such a bad experience at my previous dentist that I believed it would be the same anywhere but that genuinely wasn't the case here at all, I couldn't recommend BVSS and Dr Khalid more. I have had a complete smile make over, I've never smiled so much in my whole life. In the past I would constantly cover my mouth every time I laughed or spoke due to how bad my teeth looked, They were badly stained, I needed several root canals and a tooth extraction. Whilst at BVSS Dr Khalid worked his magic and I've now got a beautiful smile, I can't help but show off my teeth whenever I can, I've had composite bonding on my top front teeth and my bottom, Khalid not only straightened the top but also created an illusion on my bottom teeth which made them look straight , as my bottom teeth are over crowded this caused them to become crooked but now with this illusion they look straight. Typically if I was told I needed to have a root canal or even a tooth extraction I would be absolutely petrified however with Khalid and the brilliant dental nurses I am always at ease and there is no pain whatsoever, I could honestly fall asleep through treatment. Khalid is the best of the best, I couldn't recommend him or his team more, I'm constantly getting compliments about my beautiful white teeth and I always recommend people come to BVSS, You won't be disappointed!

I am extremely happy with my teeth. I had a nasty fall and fractured my front tooth and the tooth next to my front tooth. My fractured front tooth was a complicated facture as the fracture was above the gum line, no other dentist wanted to deal with my teeth. I was recently referred to BVSS by a close friend (RK). I was in alot of pain and was quickly provided with the first appointment avaiable with Dr Khalid. Khalid was extremely professional and friendly and did a scan on my tooth and advised me that the tooth could actually be saved rather than extracted. I was walked through the whole process and thereafter treated on that day and given a further treatment appointment within a couple of days to ensure that all treatment takes place prior to flying out on holiday. Recently, I completed 2 days of work experience at this clinic. During the first day, I shadowed Dr Thomas Sarpong and witnessed this clinic's procedure for dental check-ups. What struck me during the appointments I witnessed on my first day was the way in which Dr Thomas communicated with his patients. He would laugh and make jokes with them to put them at ease. In addition, he told me that he made small notes about his patients after each appointment such as whether they were going on holiday, etc. Then he would bring these topics up the next time he saw them so that the patients felt he cared about them and be able to help them. This commitment to building a positive relationship with his patients greatly inspired me as it is something I would enjoy to do when I become a dentist.On my second day at this clinic, I shadowed Dr Khalid Master. As Dr Khalid enjoys doing more complex dental procedures, I had the fortune of witnessing some unique and interesting procedures. These included restoring a front tooth, which had had a massive portion chipped off. This procedure involved many different parts and showed a wide range of skills which would be needed to be successful in dentistry. In addition to this, Dr Khalid made sure to answer my questions in between patients and taught me a lot about the different career pathways available after graduation from dental school such as positions in primary, secondary and tertiary care settings. Also, the way Dr Khalid would explain every step of the procedures in detail to his patients greatly helped me as well as I was able to learn a lot about the different procedures which dentists can offer.Overall, I had a very positive experience during my 2 days at Bank View Smile Studios and would definitely recommend it to any other prospective dental students who are looking for clinics to gain work experience at.

Before being a patient at Bank View Smile Studios, I always had to be sedated for any procedure. I am now more than happy without any sedation at all. However, I never liked the initial injection to numb the area as it was a little uncomfortable for about 10 seconds, but not any more. I has two fillings yesterday and with a new technique they are using I HONESTLY never felt a thing! I actually said to Khalid and Hayley that it was as pleasant an experience as going to the hairdressers. Plus I was so relaxed I could had dozed off. They really are the best Dental Practice. Originally went to bank view for my braces in 2015, I was still registered with another dentist but they didn’t offer the braces I wanted. After meeting with khalid we decided to go with the fast braces, which I would only need for 6 months. After only 3 months my braces came off to reveal lovely straight teeth I had always wanted. By far the best dentist around� can't believe I'm saying this about a dentist but I actually enjoyed the whole experience, Thomas is so gentle you just feel so relaxed in the chair. When I was a kid I had an accident on my bicycle and badly damaged my front teeth, I was supposed to go back to my NHS dentist when I was 17 (after my teeth had stopped growing) but I've always had a fear of the dentist and really didn't want to go back to have the work done. This year I've finally plucked up the courage to get my teeth back in shape and chose Bank View after reading all the great reviews on their website and I'm so glad I did, when Thomas was giving me the first injection on my first appointment I was very anxious, but couldn't believe it when there was no pain at all! My whole family and I have been patients of the practice for nearly 40 years now! Initially it was my husband and I and then as the family grew, they all joined and now all my sons and daughters, their spouses and all our grandchildren also attend. We were under the care of Mr Timothy J Holt ever since he graduated in 1978 and we were always happy with the good care and professional service provided by him. I have utmost trust in Khalid and his dental abilities, but ‘your mind plays tricks on you’ and on the day of the appointment I did get a deep nauseous feeling in the pit of my stomach. I needn’t have worried because the moment I mentioned this to Khalid he was EVEN more calm and gentle with me, reassuring me all the time he was working and I can honestly say that I did not feel a thing. The whole treatment was completely pain free and thoroughly calm and gentle as they profess. I cannot thank Khalid and all his wonderful team enough for making feel at ease and not a ‘silly fool’ as I thought I was being myself. His chairside manner is extraordinary and his attention to detail is second to none.

Where do I start? From the moment I moved from my old practice to BVSS I and my family have had 5 star service. The staff are all friendly and welcoming, the facilities are the same, no sterile (as in boring!) , cold waiting rooms. I can't speak highly enough of the work I have had done by Khalid Masters. I have had a couple of broken teeth practically rebuilt instead of the extraction I would have previously expected. They are tremendous. He also persuaded me to have a denture replaced with a bridge, and after thirteen years of putting up with it, I was a little dubious having seen some dodgy and badly matched ones. I needn't have worried. It's like having an improved set of my own back. Literally new and improved! I couldn't be happier!!

I first joined BVSS in 2021, Before joining this brilliant dentist I was extremely nervous of any dental appointments, I hadn’t visited the dentist in well over 5 years.
I had such a bad experience at my previous dentist that I believed it would be the same anywhere but that genuinely wasn’t the case here at all, I couldn’t recommend BVSS and Dr Khalid more.
I have had a complete smile make over, I’ve never smiled so much in my whole life. In the past I would constantly cover my mouth every time I laughed or spoke due to how bad my teeth looked, They were badly stained, I needed several root canals and a tooth extraction.
Whilst at BVSS Dr Khalid worked his magic and I’ve now got a beautiful smile, I can’t help but show off my teeth whenever I can, I’ve had composite bonding on my top front teeth and my bottom, Khalid not only straightened the top but also created an illusion on my bottom teeth which made them look straight, as my bottom teeth are over crowded this caused them to become crooked but now with this illusion they look straight.
Typically if I was told I needed to have a root canal or even a tooth extraction I would be absolutely petrified however with Khalid and the brilliant dental nurses I am always at ease and there is no pain whatsoever, I could honestly fall asleep through treatment.
Khalid is the best of the best, I couldn’t recommend him or his team more, I’m constantly getting compliments about my beautiful white teeth and I always recommend people come to BVSS, You won’t be disappointed!
